How to recognise and manage stress during lockdown?

As we enter a second lockdown, it is important to manage our stress levels and look after our own wellbeing, as well as the wellbeing of others.

Stress is a gradual process, it creeps up on us over time, often left unnoticed, until it’s too late.

So how do you become aware that you are ‘stressed’?

How do you know when other people are stressed?

Whilst we all experience stress differently, if we know what we’re looking for, stress will be found in our body, mind, emotions and behaviours and, if left unmanaged, could lead to physical and mental ill health.

The visual anchor here will help you recognise if you are holding stress within yourself and help you spot it in others too. And if you do find stress, consider, what its causes are? (external and internal) and how you can find ways to reduce, manage or alleviate it all together?
