The first lockdown in the UK began on the 16th March 2020 - exactly 1 year ago today.

The past year has been unlike any other and different for each of us. It is interesting that people have viewed the situation from different perspectives. Some are of the mindset that we are all in the same boat, whereas others feel that we are all in the same storm but are all in different boats.

The latter viewpoint reminds us to be more empathic, less assuming and less judgemental. This awareness applies not only during times of pandemic but also in general. It prompts us to step back and remember that we never know what other people are going through. Would you agree?
